The Environmental Working Group
Mission is to:
Create a culture of environmental understanding and action, thus enriching a deep commitment to responsible global citizenship through:
a) advocating for SIT/World Learning to decrease its ecological footprint;
b) enhancing SIT’s mission through the recognition that responsible global citizenship requires environmental awareness and sustainability; and
c) providing opportunities for the SIT/World Learning community to engage in environmental projects both on campus and within the broader communities where we live and work.

Environmental Action Conference
Will be held on November 7th from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at Vermont Technical College in Randolph, VT.
The keynote speaker is scheduled to be Jonathan Isham, a professor of economics at Middlebury College and the gubernatorial canidates with speak on their environmental platforms.
